You're an expert.
You've got experience in one field or another and developed your own ways of doing things to get you results.
Now you want to build an audience and reach more people with your expertise.
As your audience doesn't know what you know (yet), you have to meet them where they are and start with the basics.
That means repeating the same basic messages again and again in different shapes and forms.
And refine them further to make them more obvious and easy to understand.
But that's where it gets tricky.
The basic stuff seems so banal to you, the expert. Boring even.
You'd rather move on to talk about the frontiers of your industry, the next level.
There's a disconnect between what you want to talk about and what your audience needs to hear.
Worst case, you start to resent creating content and eventually give up because you can't seem to connect with your audience.
How do you solve this?
Listen to your audience and let their feedback guide you.
Let their comments and 'thank you' messages fuel you to keep creating.
And as you continue to lift others up, you'll be able to take the part of your audience who's ready with you to the next level.
